- CAI RANG MARKET: the largest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta, starts around 05:00 and runs until around midday, meaning that you’ll have to get an early start to the day if you want to visit. Most tour boats along the riverfront leave between 05:00 and 07:00, so if don’t make it to the water by then you’ll have a hard time finding a tour.
Vung Tau is a beach city, just 120Km from Saigon. You can get a spead boat (hydrofoil) for 1,5hours or go by bus for 2 hours.
The Old Quarter in Dong Van are famous with the traditional terracotta-coloured adobe houses here, with timber details and slouchy tiled roofs, date from the French colonial period.
Sa Pa is a quiet mountain town and home to a great diversity of ethnic minority peoples., Most of them work their land on sloping terraces since the vast majority of the land is mountainous. The geographical location of the area makes it a truly unique place for many interesting plants and animals, allowing it to support many inhabitants. Many very rare or even endemic species have been recorded in the region.
