HORSE CART IN BAGAN

Traveling by horse cart is the most popular ride in Bagan.  If you hire a carriage to travel in the whole day, you should make bargain with the owner for the best price, . The horseman is not a professional tour guide, but can also show you the highlights of each place which you want to see. He does not take you to each temple, but can give you a rough guide through the necessary points. For example, He will show you which temple you are allowed to climb up for pictures and view , and how you can climb up the temple and stand there for a scenic view, or take you to the most prominent art works at the temple.

RENT A CAR 

The second means of traveling in Bagan is to rent a car with its driver.. Normally, the car is used for transfer from your hotel to these temples and back.

BIKECYCLE

Biking here is the first choice for travelers here, who like living slow and having some excercise. But the roads in the temple complex are the red dusty desert tracks, So you should be healthy to manage your cycling here.  But the small track running around the ruins is the trail, is quite narrow and full of dust, Only the main paved road of Bagan is beautiful, clean and green.

Along on the road or in the area to visit are the drinking water served tourists. If you are tired of cycling, you can take a break for drinking, by the way , can talk to the local people
